How do i change my rotor arm on a vauxhall 1994 corsa?

car broke down and been told it needs changing, is it simple enough to do my self? How do i change my rotor arm on a vauxhall 1994 corsa?
Yes this is simple as long as you are careful....

An old trick to imobilise a car was to remove the rotor arm...

The distributer cap is usually black or grey and looks like the bottom of a large Coke bottle.

The HT Leads come out of the distributer and connect to each spark plug.

There sould only be a couple of clips on each side holding the top on.

If you take it off you will see the rotor arm. It looks like a small handle and spins round to the contacts for each spark plug etc..

If should just lift off.

In order to get a replacement check with somewhere like halfords or look up a haynes manual for your model car and the engine that you have.

It is important the you get the right one.

Good luck !How do i change my rotor arm on a vauxhall 1994 corsa?
i think u just take of the distributor cap and replace the rotor arm inside. dont take of the ht leads incase u mix them up putting back on. just unclip the clips and take off cap with leads attacthed
