Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup?

I really need to change the brake rotors, is there somekind of special tool to take this locknut off or is there a trick to turning it?Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup?
Once you get the small plate off with the two small screws the nut will be exposed. On the nut you will see two holes, just get a punch and stick it in one of the holes and use a hammer and tap it counter clockwise, you dont need any special tools for that.Does anyone know how to remove the wheel bearing locknut on a 4wd 1995 nissan pickup?

Some tool websites indicate that there is a special socket with 2 or 4 tabs that extend from the sockets end. I assume the tabs engage with some part (washer or shim or something) that make it necessary to have this particular tool.
